True Parametric Families
Walls, doors, windows and structural elements modeled as native, editable Revit families — not dumb solids.
Scan to BIM · Native Revit Modeling
We build intelligent, parametric Revit models directly from your registered point cloud — with properly organized levels, worksets and families, so your team can start documenting and coordinating immediately.

Problem Statement
Mesh or solid imports can look correct in a viewer and still fail in Revit: missing levels, unusable families and unreliable schedules. Point Cloud to Revit means authoring native Revit elements against the registered cloud so the file behaves like a Revit model.
Our Solution
We link your registered cloud into a Revit project — using your template when you provide one — then model categories the brief requires. Worksets, family libraries and sheet setups are project-dependent, not assumed for every file. Hidden MEP and scan gaps are not invented.

Benefits
A Revit-first modeling service for teams who live inside Autodesk's ecosystem and need models that behave like Revit models, not generic geometry.
Walls, doors, windows and structural elements modeled as native, editable Revit families — not dumb solids.
Models arrive with levels, grids and worksets organized to match your firm's Revit standards.
Every family placement is checked against the source point cloud for dimensional accuracy.
Models export cleanly for downstream coordination in Navisworks and BIM Collaborate.
Most projects deliver in 5–10 business days with a scoped, fixed-price proposal upfront.
Workflow
A Revit-specific pipeline that keeps your model organized and coordination-ready from day one.
Upload your registered scan; we confirm project base point, levels and units against your Revit template.
Your point cloud is linked into a Revit project using your firm's template, levels and grids.
Elements are modeled with native Revit families, matched to your project's LOD and content standards.
Every element passes a deviation check against the source point cloud before handover.
You receive a clean, organized RVT file with two rounds of included revisions.
Methodology
Practical definitions, limitations and commercial factors — written so they stay true from one project to the next.
Point Cloud to Revit is Scan-to-BIM delivered as a native RVT: walls, floors, roofs, structure and other agreed categories modeled as Revit elements against a registered point cloud, not as an imported mesh.
Revit-centric architecture, interior, structural and MEP teams who will continue documentation, coordination or renovation inside Autodesk Revit and need the existing building as an editable project file.
Typical steps: confirm origin and units; link the cloud; align to survey or shared coordinates if provided; set levels and grids from evidence; model with native families. Your office template, family library and worksets are used when you issue them — they are not required on every project.
E57 is a vendor-neutral scan exchange format. RCP/RCS are Autodesk ReCap index formats commonly linked in Revit. They are not automatically equivalent. We convert or index as the project software and your Revit version require after registration is confirmed. Clouds captured with Leica BLK360, Leica RTC360, FARO or Trimble systems can be used when supplied in those formats — the scanner model is not assumed.
Model reliability follows the registered cloud. Poor registration, low density, occlusion and hidden services (MEP inside shafts or above closed ceilings) cannot be modeled accurately without additional evidence. We do not fabricate missing geometry.
QA is a deviation check of modeled categories against the linked cloud to the agreed tolerance. Price and duration scale with floors, density, LOD, family/template alignment, MEP visibility and drawing extracts. Typical Scan-to-BIM packages often land in about 5–10 business days after confirmed scope. This is a typical range, not a fixed SLA or guaranteed delivery date.

Deliverables
Every Revit engagement ships as a ready-to-open project file, not just modeled geometry.
Fully organized Revit model with levels, grids, worksets and shared parameters set up.
A log of every family and type used, so your team can audit or swap content easily.
Documented accuracy checks comparing modeled elements to the source scan.
Pre-configured views, schedules and sheet templates matched to your standards on request.
Signed-off confirmation that the model meets your specified LOD and accuracy targets.
LOD Support
Most Point Cloud to Revit briefs sit at LOD 200–300. LOD 350 or 400 is added only when coordination interfaces or fabrication-level content are specified and the cloud supports them.
LOD 200
Approximate Revit geometry for schematic coordination. Suitable when massing, layout and quantities matter more than assembly detail.
LOD 300
Precise size, shape and location for design development in Revit. Openings and hosted elements follow scan evidence at the agreed categories.
LOD 350
Specified when interfaces with adjacent systems must be defined for clash coordination. Not automatic on every Point Cloud to Revit job.
LOD 400
Fabrication-oriented Revit detail only when the brief and scan (or extra survey) support it.
