How we approached the scan-to-BIM workflow for Downtown Mixed-Use Tower — Scan to BIM.
Herausforderung
The developer needed a construction-ready model built from an existing steel frame with incomplete as-built drawings, across a site with four separate scan setups and tight tie-in tolerances between retail, office and residential cores.
Lösung
We registered and merged all scan setups into a single reference point cloud, modeled architecture, structure and MEP directly against it at LOD 400, and ran a full multi-discipline clash pass before handover so the general contractor could issue for construction with confidence.
