A Scan-to-BIM Studio Built Around One Discipline

BIMzStudio is not a general BIM firm. We are a specialist studio dedicated entirely to converting point cloud scan data — from LiDAR scanners, drone photogrammetry, and 3D laser surveys — into precise, LOD 100–500 BIM models in Revit and ArchiCAD.

Every project we take on benefits from hands-on scan processing expertise, not outsourced labor or automated shortcuts. We process E57, RCP, RCS, LAS, and PTS files directly in ReCap, CloudCompare, and Revit — understanding the noise, gaps, and registration challenges that come with real-world scan data.

Beyond core Scan-to-BIM, we now offer drone photogrammetry processing and Gaussian Splat generation — enabling immersive 3D documentation that goes beyond traditional deliverables. Whether you need a measured as-built model, clash detection in Navisworks, or a photorealistic Gaussian Splat of your facility, we deliver it with accuracy your team can build from.

Point Cloud to Revit (LOD 100–500)

Full as-built Revit models from LiDAR scan data. We handle E57, RCP, RCS, and LAS formats — architectural, structural, and MEP elements modeled to your required LOD.

Precise 2D as-built drawings — floor plans, elevations, sections — extracted directly from point cloud data with measured accuracy.

Our Scan-to-BIM Process

Upload Scan Data

Share your E57, LAS, RCP, RCS, or PTS files via WeTransfer, Google Drive, or your preferred platform. We confirm receipt and review data quality within 24 hours.

Process & Model

We register, clean, and import point clouds into Revit or ArchiCAD. Every element is modeled to your specified LOD with scan deviation checks throughout.

QC & Review

Internal quality check against your scope. We share a progress model for your review before final delivery — feedback is welcome at this stage.

Final Delivery

Clean RVT, DWG, IFC, or NWC files delivered with a scan deviation report. Revisions included within agreed scope at no extra charge.
