Modeling Standards & Capabilities
We provide comprehensive BIM solutions, including converting 2D drawings (PDF/DWG) to 3D Revit models, architectural and structural modeling, MEP coordination, and Revit Family creation. Our models are built to be intelligent, data-rich, and ready for construction or analysis.
We offer modeling across the entire spectrum:
- LOD 100/200: Massing and conceptual design.
- LOD 300/350: Detailed construction documentation and coordination.
- LOD 400: Fabrication-ready models with detailed assemblies.
Yes. We are experienced in adhering to international standards such as ISO 19650, as well as region-specific requirements (UK, USA, and European standards). We can also adapt to your firm’s internal “Graphic Charter” or Revit templates.
We create custom, parametric Revit Families ($rfa$) that are optimized for performance. Whether you need specific furniture, specialized mechanical equipment, or complex architectural components, we ensure the families contain the necessary metadata for scheduling and tagging.
Yes. We use Revit’s internal interference check and Autodesk Navisworks to identify and resolve clashes between architectural, structural, and MEP systems during the modeling phase, reducing costly errors on-site.
For large-scale developments, we utilize best practices such as work-sharing (Central/Local files), efficient linking strategies, and managing “View Filters” and “Worksets” to ensure the model remains fast and responsive for your team.
We can work locally and send periodic $rvt$ file updates, or we can collaborate in real-time using Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360). This allows your team to see progress and provide feedback directly within the cloud environment.
The primary deliverable is a native Revit (.rvt) file. Upon request, we also provide:
- IFC files for OpenBIM compatibility.
- 2D Sheets (Floor plans, Sections, Elevations) in PDF or DWG.
- Schedules (Quantity Take-offs, Room Schedules, Door/Window Schedules).
Absolutely. We specialize in “CAD-to-BIM” migration, taking your legacy 2D details and standard drawings and transforming them into intelligent Revit components and drafting views.
To provide an accurate quote, please provide:
- Existing 2D drawings (PDF, DWG) or sketches.
- The required LOD and project scope.
- Your preferred Revit version (e.g., Revit 2023, 2024, 2025,2026,2027).
- A copy of your Revit template,if you want us to use your office standards.
We include a standard number of revision cycles in our proposals to ensure the model perfectly aligns with your design intent. Major design changes outside the initial scope are handled through a simple change-order process.
Pricing is typically based on the project complexity and the estimated man-hours required. We offer both fixed-price contracts for well-defined scopes and hourly rates for ongoing design support.
